First Interstate has been awarded a place on the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for New Grads 2026.
This prestigious award is presented in collaboration with Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The award list was announced on May 19, 2026, and can be viewed on the Forbes website.
America’s Best Employers for New Grads 2026 were identified in an independent survey of over 100,000 U.S. young professionals (employees who have less than 10 years of work experience) working for companies employing at least 1,000 people within the U.S. Over 2 million employer evaluations were considered. The final score is based on two types of evaluations: personal (those given by employees themselves) and public (those given by friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry).
This prestigious accolade highlights First Interstate’s dedication to fostering a workplace where recent graduates can thrive, grow, and make a meaningful impact from day one.
“We are incredibly proud to receive this recognition,” said Rachel Turitto, Chief HR Officer. “This award is a reflection of our culture—one that values learning, mentorship, diversity, and bold ideas. New graduates bring fresh perspectives, and we’re committed to creating an environment where they can succeed and lead.”
First Interstate’s efforts have led to measurable progress, particularly in increasing representation across all categories, creating policies that support a fair and inclusive work environment, and implementing ongoing training programs to ensure all employees feel empowered and supported. This recognition further establishes us as a company that is committed to building pathways for the next generation of leaders and innovators.
Based on the results of the study, First Interstate is honored to be recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for New Grads 2026.
